2016 Key Findings:
- Merit salary increased in 2016 to 2.9% from 2.6% in 2015, the projections for 2017 are consistent with the increase reported for 2016
- Eighty-three percent (83%) of surveyed companies offer variable pay plans to their employees
- Fifty-six percent (56%) of respondents indicate that employees who work holidays are paid at two times base pay
