Chain Restaurant Compensation Survey

Aon Hewitt is pleased to partner with the Chain Restaurant Total Rewards Association (CRTRA) to conduct their annual compensation survey for 2017. Chain restaurants comprise one of the largest employer segments in the country and CRTRA now has over 100 member companies, representing over 150 of the most popular restaurant concepts, employing nearly 1.5 million workers. One thing each member company has in common is that the cost of labor is the single largest operating expense. The CRTRA Compensation Survey serves as the foundation for members to be able to provide the analytics and insights that help their businesses operate most effectively.
Aon Hewitt, in its fifth year partnering with CRTRA, is continuing to refine the survey adding additional features in reporting, new positions, more geographical data and an improved platform.
The primary changes to the 2017 survey fall into several categories:
  • New user-friendly, secure website
  • Updated hourly pay data results every three months
  • Reporting on hours worked and gross earnings values for tipped worker jobs
